In this question, we have the ball as A and the bat as B
A + B = 1.10
In this case, the total is enough for 1 Bat, so we have x + 1 = A + B ( x is the prince of the ball )
x + 1 = 1.10
x = .10 = 10 cents :) so the ball costs only 10 cents
