A. The significance of the Peninsula Campaign was a huge offensive move against the Confederate capital of Richmond during the American Civil War.
B. The Anaconda Plan was the name of the campaign or strategic plan to control Confederacy at the beginning of the Civil War. It was suggested by the General-in-Chief Winfield Scott to put all blocks in the Southern ports. The concept was inspired by how an anaconda suffocating its victim.
