Beth had 6 feet of wrapping paper. she used 3/4 of the paper . how much does she have left?

You have to calculate the portion of paper which she used:
6 * 3/4 = 4.5 feet
so, left paper = 6-4.5 = 1.5 feet
so, your final answer is 1.5 feet
