As per given diagram:

Take two points on the line (1,1) and (0,4)

For the slope of the line:

[tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

Now put the values in the formula:

[tex]\begin{gathered} m=\frac{4-1}{0-1} \\ m=\frac{3}{-1} \\ m=-3 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So the slopw of the given line is -3.
