To find the surface area of the triangular prism, simply find the area of the triangular face, and multiply that by a value of 2, to obtain the total surface area for the triangular faces, then find the area of the rectangular faces, by using that formula, do this 3 times for the 3 rectangular faces.

Then add up all of the surface areas of the rectangles, and triangles together to find the total surface area.
