Isolating L, it is found that the solution for L is given by:

[tex]L = 2(S - B)[/tex]

--------------------------

The equation is:

[tex]S = B + \frac{1}{2}L[/tex]

Leaving everything with L on one side, everything without on the other.

[tex]\frac{L}{2} = S - B[/tex]

[tex]L = 2(S - B)[/tex]

Which is the solution for L.
